River Park

With the construction of the dam on Chiascio, it is intended to provide a tank of water which should provide for irrigation of the Umbrian Valley and Middle Valley of the Tiber. The volume of material used for its construction is about 5 million cubic meters and is equipped with a microseismic monitoring network with stations reporting and processing "on line" of earthquakes within 20 km. According to the current development plans, this area will become a highly attractive environment. It will be possible to integrate the tourism sector-environment-culture considering the presence of monuments of historical interests and putting the work is tourist accommodation. Moreover, the crossing of the area by the Franciscan path of Peace, is a strong lever for development.
